Anna Dean is a performance artist composing self-reflection as exposure. She recently graduated as a Master of Performance with distinction from Queen Mary University of London and has performed across the UK and Europe. Most recently, Anna has performed at the Barbican, Battersea Arts Centre, the V&A, Arthouse Lewisham and Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall.
Anna is also performer and collaborator in Cry Cry Kill Kill with Louise Orwin, which is being developed with the support of Barbican Openlab Scheme, Jerwood Arts and Cambridge Junction. It was originally developed at the Barbican as a finalist for the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Prize.
Anna is the current Theatre and Dance Communications Intern at the Barbican, and previously interned at Lévy Gorvy gallery.
