Anna Dean

Bio

Anna Dean is an actor and director based in London. She is dedicated to illuminating queer experience on stage and screen.

 Anna has directed, performed, and produced work at venues including the Barbican, V&A, Battersea Arts Centre and many others. As a member of Louise Orwin company, she co-created and performed in the award-nominated show CRY CRY KILL KILL. Anna is currently developing her short films as a member of Female Film Club. 

Anna’s directorial technique draws upon directing mentorship with Katie Mitchell at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where Anna was selected for a specialist artist development program. She is a Master of Arts graduate (Theatre & Performance, Queen Mary, Distinction, December 2019). Anna is also a student at IDSA – Identity School of Acting, and is currently studying on the advanced program.
